Some friends, especially English-speaking ones, call me &ldquo;Prot&rdquo;. I write/talk about <a href="https://protesilaos.com/publications/">philosophy</a>, <a href="https://protesilaos.com/codelog/">Emacs and free software</a>, <a href="https://protesilaos.com/politics/">politics</a>, and <a href="https://protesilaos.com/master/">related issues</a>. If I am to summarise all this in one word, that is &ldquo;tinkerer&rdquo;. I proceed through trial and error.</p> <h2 id="how-did-you-get-interested-in-that">How did you get interested in that?</h2> <p>All of my current interests emerged organically through everyday life experiences and/or coincidences.</p>
